About the role

As an HR Intern at MVRDV, you’ll gain broad exposure to both the operational and strategic sides of human resources. From supporting recruitment and maintaining employee records to assisting with projects related to performance, development, and inclusion, you’ll be part of a collaborative and proactive team. This internship is ideal for someone who is curious, hands-on, and eager to contribute to the people side of a creative, international organisation.

Job requirements

We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) architect intern to join us on-site (at the office 5 days a week) from 1 September 2025 to 28 Feburary 2026, for an exciting 6-month internship. More specifically, we are looking for students with: 

  • You have strong analytical skills as well as an eye for detail and accuracy 

  • You like to take initiative and you have a hands-on mentality 

  • You feel attracted to work in an international, ambitious, and pioneering environment 

  • Have the ability to work well in international teams 

  • Have excellent spoken and written English; Dutch is a plus 

  • Authorised to work in the Netherlands (through being an EU citizen, having a Dutch student permit, working holiday permit or Erasmus+) 

  • Enrolled as a student for the entire duration of the internship (proof required) 

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting with recruitment coordination and candidate communication 

  • Supporting HR administration, including contract processing and absence tracking 

  • Helping manage and update our HR Information System (HRIS) 

  • Responding to internal HR-related inquiries 

  • Contributing to strategic HR projects (e.g. performance management, DE&I, learning & development) 

  • Collaborating with HR Business Partners and the Head of HR on ongoing initiatives

In this meeting, your potential future Leader and a teammate will take a deeper dive into your experience, and what you could bring to the team.

Second Interview

You made it to the last stage! During this meeting, you will meet with another teammate and a Senior Manager, who will further assess your possible future contributions to the team.
