Working alongside experienced financial professionals, you’ll develop essential skills, support key business processes and contribute to the financial efficiency of a globally renowned architecture practice.
Finance Department
The Finance Department at MVRDV plays a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of our global practice. From budgeting and forecasting to reporting and analysis, the team supports both day-to-day processes and strategic decision-making. As part of this team, you’ll gain insight into the financial backbone of a creative organisation and contribute to its continued growth and efficiency.
About the role
As a Finance Intern at MVRDV, you’ll support the daily operations of our Finance Department, assisting with financial administration, reporting, and data entry. You’ll work closely with the team to help ensure accurate records, support internal processes, and contribute to the smooth running of our financial systems. This internship offers a practical learning experience in an international, creative environment, with the opportunity to develop essential finance and administration skills.

Job requirements
We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) architect intern to join us on-site (at the office 5 days a week) from 1 September 2025 to 28 Feburary 2026, for an exciting 6-month internship. More specifically, we are looking for students with:
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Proactive and hands-on approach to work
Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus
Independent, enterprising spirit with strong teamwork abilities
Enthusiastic about learning and gaining experience in a finance role
Authorised to work in the Netherlands (through being an EU citizen, having a Dutch student permit, working holiday permit or Erasmus+)
Enrolled as a student for the entire duration of the internship (proof required)
