About the role

MVRDV is looking for an Interior Designer with 5+ years of experience, excellent design, graphic, and communication skills to join our Rotterdam team. We work on a wide range of diverse, international projects, and we’re looking for someone who brings both strong ideas and a hands-on attitude to the table.

Job requirements

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar position as Interior Designer/ Interior Architecture.

  • A degree in Interior Architecture.

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands.

  • You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills, both oral and written.  

  • Knowledge and experience in the Detail Design phase is a plus. 

  • Experience with working on commercial and/or public buildings. 

  • Excellent design and graphic skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly. 

  • Excellent organisational, negotiation, and presentation skills. 

  • Experienced user of Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Rhino and Revit.

  • Optional: You are able to define the scope of a project, establish processes, plan costs, predict risks, manage various stakeholders, etc. 

  • Optional: You have experience in lead generation and creative business development ideas. You can convert market reactions into structural proposals and strategies.
