We are a global team of over 300 passionate people who are dedicated to creating innovative architecture and urban design. We were founded in 1993 and are headquartered in Rotterdam, with offices in Shanghai, Berlin, Paris, and New York.

Urbanism Studio

The Urbanism Studio at MVRDV is responsible for designing livable and sustainable cities and neighborhoods. The studio works on a wide range of projects, from master plans for new cities to urban design guidelines for existing cities. Some notable projects include:

• The Île Seguin master plan in Paris, a new mixed-use development on a former industrial island
• The Grand Paris urban design guidelines, which provide a framework for the sustainable development of the Greater Paris region
• The Seoul Forest master plan, a new park and recreation area in Seoul, South Korea
• The Rotterdam Central District master plan, a new mixed-use development in the heart of Rotterdam

• Full-time available (40h/week) for the duration of six months.
• Can start in September 2024.
• Authorized to work in the Netherlands and enrolled as a student for the internship duration. 
• Excellent design and CAD skills.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite and 2D and 3D rendering skills. (please state your level of skill with each software package in your application).
• Able to work in international teams.
• Written evidence of enrollment in a university or academy.
• Excellent verbal and written English. Other languages are a plus.
