MVRDV is looking for an enthusiastic designer with a fascination for modelmaking and fabrication to advance in-house modelmaking efforts. As part of NEXT, you will collaborate with MVRDV's design teams globally to craft scale models and prototypes.
Instead of merely producing presentation models, we're interested to strengthen the integration of modelmaking processes throughout various design stages. Our aim is to merge functionality with creativity, while also considering sustainable materials and interactivity in our models. You will become part of a new fabrications team that works inside MVRDV NEXT, the computational and climate specialism group of MVRDV. This group collaborates with teams on projects, and executes independent R&D in the fields of sustainability, scripting and new media.
